Application for Breakout Workshop Chairs - International Ocean Colour Science Meeting

Please complete all mandatory fields to submit your proposal for a breakout workshop at the 6th International Ocean Colour Science (IOCS) meeting in Darmstadt, Germany from 1-4 December 2025.

Proposals should clearly outline: the scientific questions aimed to be addressed within the workshop; and a basic plan for how the workshop will be structured to stimulate and facilitate attendee participation and discussions that can answer the scientific questions and lead to consensus recommendations.

Each workshop slot is expected to be 2.5 hours in length. You may request, with appropriate justification, more than one slot for one workshop, which is subject to availability.

The IOCS Scientific Planning Committee will review all proposals. Depending on overall submissions, the Committee may make recommendations for changes to existing proposals.
