Explore St. Pete

The St. Petersburg/Clearwater location is a sunny destination with a vibrant arts community and excellent outdoor experiences. The location was named by Forbes among the Best Places to Travel in the U.S. for 2023.

Here are a few things to explore, shared by local peers in the St. Petersburg area:

The Salvador Dali museum is a must see while in town but Thursday at 5-8pm is really the only affordable ($14.50 USD) and logistically possible time to visit while attending the meeting.

African American Heritage Trail

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve is open daily during daylight hours with ambassador birds of prey aviary, walking trails, a lake, and a nature center. Note: not walkable from downtown. Requires bus or ride-share.

Shuffleboard, PickleBall and Volleyball courts.

Downtown museums (e.g. James Western, the Chihuly Collection, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Holocaust Museum, and Museum of History). Some museums have reciprocal memberships allowing free admission if you are a member of another participating museum in your town.

Two adult-beverage sampling tours – St. Petersburg Distillery and The Gulp Coast Craft Beer Trial
